This weeks episode of the new cammodel podcast #ShitGuysSayToCamgirls features our very first guest Naomi Courtney and today we go over tips and tricks regarding Streamate. Previously here on the Boleyn Models blog I talked about the latest announcement from Streamate regarding their new algorithm for Smarter Placement and we decided to discuss what exactly that meant during this weeks podcast. Or at least we attempted to talk about what we think it means because as of right now there’s a lot of speculation as to whether or not using artificial intelligence much like social media platforms is what Smarter Placement entails.
Naomi who is also a member of the Boleyn Models daily pay program was kind enough to share her theories about the new placement and how she plans to make it work for herself while live streaming on the platform. I think this is a great podcast to listen to if you’re in need of a moral boost plus more insight as to how to become a great cammodel on Streamate. She’s an eternal optimist with a great attitude and a strong background in sales therefore I would highly recommend reaching out to her if any cammodels are looking for more cambuddies. You can find her on twitter @Naomi_Court She’s also registered on Cams.com and was able to make very educated comparisons between the two platforms and reflect on how she can to the decision to make Streamate her main site.
We also talk a little bit about FOSTA, the controversial anti-sex trafficking bill and how it could effect cammodels. For those who are unaware FOSTA stands for the Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act and could potentially cause a lot of trouble for websites that include advertisements for various forms of sexwork. If this bill is signed and approved as is by the President Of The United States, it’s very possible that all adult platforms will now become liable for speech and content created by their users. In some ways this could strengthen camsite security with stronger age verification’s and policing that will leave very little room for fraudulent activities. This is a good thing of course. But on the downside the passing of FOSTA could make things increasingly more difficult when it comes to cammodel marketing and finding places that will allow us to share our content for added exposure. Just this past week Craigslist has removed it’s section for personals a very popular spot for cammodel advertising and now Google Drive has started to declare war against those who have used the service for hosting adult content. But to be fair Google Drive has never been okay with x rated content and this is why it’s always best to use purchased hosting for these sort of things. Don’t gamble with your cammodel careers.
These issues are definitely something we should all keep our eyes on while making sure we’re registered and prepared to VOTE in support of our interest come this fall for the 2018 midterm elections.
